Barys continued its final road trip of the season in Khabarovsk.

The opening period was dominated by the home team, who were highly active around the net, leading to three goals. Oleg Li, Konstantin Barulin, and Yevgeny Grachev (on the power play) all found the back of the net. Barys had chances through Kirill Savitsky, who returned to the lineup after injury, and Samat Daniyar, who hit the crossbar.

Early in the second period, Oleg Li scored his second goal of the night. The visitors finally got on the scoreboard thanks to captain Roman Starchenko, who netted his 215th career KHL goal. In the final period, Dinmukhamed Kaiyrzhan capitalized on a power play, but Barys was unable to fully turn the game around. Oleg Li completed his hat trick to seal the win.

On March 17, Galym Mambetaliyev's team will face Sibir in Novosibirsk.
