Barys Ends Season with a Loss to Salavat Yulaev

In their final game of the season, Barys faced off against Salavat Yulaev.

Accurate shots from Alexander Khmelyovski and Sheldon Rempal gave the visitors the lead by the end of the first period. In the second period, 20-year-old Aslan Zhusupbekov scored his first-ever goal in the Kontinental Hockey League, shifting the momentum in Barys' favor. However, no further goals followed before the intermission. In the final period, Salavat Yulaev struck twice more, with goals from Joshua Leivo and Scott Wilson.

At the end of the regular season, Galym Mambetaliev’s team earned 35 points, finishing in 12th place in the Eastern Conference.
