In the final game of the World Championship’s top division in Denmark, Team Kazakhstan was defeated by Switzerland. Arkadiy Shestakov scored the only goal for Kazakhstan.
Following the preliminary round, Kazakhstan finished with three points, placing last in Group B and consequently losing its spot in the elite division. Barys captain Roman Starchenko was named one of Kazakhstan’s top three players of the tournament.
