Ildus Vakilovich, Coach of the Snezhnye Barsy:
- Overall, nothing drastically changed after the first game. We reviewed yesterday’s match, made some adjustments, and reminded the guys that everything is within our control. They did a great job. The opponent is strong, and it's enjoyable to play against them. The game was evenly matched: they won yesterday, and today we came out on top. After conceding the second goal, we didn’t panic. Yes, we allowed a quick goal, but we managed to take the lead afterward. The guys did great and followed the coach’s instructions. I’d especially like to highlight our goalie, Vladimir Nikitin—he played outstandingly today and made key saves. The team effort was also excellent, and everyone deserved top marks.
Sergey Lopushansky, Head Coach of Ladya:
- We played a decent game, created a lot of chances, and in my opinion, played better than we did yesterday. However, we couldn’t beat the opponent's goalie, and individual mistakes led to the goals we conceded. It’s simple: if you don’t score, you concede. We are currently focusing on improving our finishing, but the opponent turned out to be quite strong, just like our recent opponents. Our weak spot is playing in the crease. While we’re working to improve this aspect, not all players are following the instructions. The assessment for yesterday’s game differs from today’s because the result wasn’t in our favor. We’ll analyze the mistakes and work on improving our game.
