The Department for the Organization of Republican Competitions of the KHF has presented the first part of the schedule for the 2025–26 season of the Kazakhstan Youth Championship.
The initial version of the calendar was created with 14 teams in mind, but due to financial difficulties, the team from Uzbekistan decided to skip the season. The schedule has now been adjusted for 13 participants.
In the upcoming season, the following teams will compete for the championship medals: Astana, Barys, Turan Tigers, Karmet, Zhas Batyr, Arlan, Aktobe, Gornyak, Kulager, Almaty, Munayshi, Torpedo, and Sunkar. The tournament will consist of two stages: each team will play 48 games in the regular season, and the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs.
Barys will begin its campaign on September 20–21 with home games against Torpedo. On September 24 and 25, the Astana team will host Aktobe, and on September 29 and 30 – Munayshi. The first away games for Andrei Shayakhmetov’s team will take place on October 4 and 5 in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
