The Capital Team Continues Its October Road Trip in Almaty
The team from Kazakhstan’s southern capital wrapped up its own road stretch with a pair of games against Beibarys, where the sides split the points. In the first matchup, the hosts pulled off a 2–1 overtime win, with Maxim Petrasyuk scoring Almaty’s only goal. In the second game, the visitors responded with a regulation-time victory. Nikita Seleznev, Egor Anisimov, and Damir Aidukov found the net, while Musa Guseinov recorded a two-goal performance.
Heading into their clash with the Astana side, Almaty sits 6th in the standings with 18 points in 14 games.
Nomad, meanwhile, also split their series against Rudny. In the first game, the hosts suffered a 3–7 defeat despite goals from Adil Beisembaev, Beibarys Orazov, and Kirill Lyapunov. In the rematch, Nomad came out more focused and claimed a 6–3 win. Timur Mindubaev, Beibarys Orazov, Dias Guseinov, and Temirlan Katarov all scored, while Sayan Daniyar notched a brace. Following Week 7 of the Kazakhstan Championship, Dias Guseinov was named Player of the Week.
As of now, Nomad leads the league standings with 34 points in 20 games.
