The Astana team continues its road series in Balashikha and will face a new opponent — Kapitan from Stupino, representing the Western Conference.
Before starting their home stretch, Kapitan played a single away game against league newcomers Krasnaya Mashina Junior, claiming a 6:2 victory. The goals came from Igor Kozlov and Fyodor Avramov, while Viktor Sulima and Pavel Rokov each scored twice. Earlier, Denis Kulyash’s team hosted Dinamo-Bobruisk but failed to find the back of the net, losing 0:4.
Heading into the game against the Astana side, Kapitan sit in 9th place in the Western Silver Division standings with 7 points after 13 games.
Snezhnye Barsy, meanwhile, opened their road series in Khanty-Mansiysk, where they fell 1:3 to Mamonty Yugry. The only goal for the Astana team was scored by Ruslan Tusupbekov.
Before the trip, Anton Vasin’s team wrapped up their home series with two games against Tyumensky Legion, splitting the results. In the first matchup, a 4:1 victory, goals came from Aituar Nurzhanov and Tamerlan Tleubayev, with Roman Dvurechensky scoring twice. In the second game, a 3:4 loss, Alikhan Bakhyt, Alexander Perkin, and Ruslan Tusupbekov found the net.
As of now, Snezhnye Barsy sit in the second-to-last spot in the Silver Division standings, with 6 points from 17 games.
