Before the Lokomotiv – Barys Match

The first stop for Barys on their short road trip will be in Yaroslavl. In the previous head-to-head meeting this season, which took place in October in Astana, the home team suffered a 1–5 defeat against Lokomotiv.

Head coach Mikhail Kravets noted that his team performed well on the penalty kill and highlighted the third period, where the momentum of the game could have shifted.

In 26 games, the Kazakh team has collected 21 points. Riley Walsh and Michael Vecchione remain the team’s leading scorers (both with 7+12). Forwards Maxim Mukhametov and Emil Galimov have returned from the injury list.
