Snezhnye Barsy begin their October road series with back-to-back games against Mamonty Yugry.
Mamonty wrapped up their own away series with a matchup against Ladya. The teams couldn’t determine a winner in regulation or overtime, and the outcome was decided in a shootout in favor of the home team — 3:2. For the visitors, Semyon Kochurin stood out with a brace. Earlier, Dmitry Burlutsky’s squad held two home games against Avto, winning both by scores of 5:2 and 2:1. In the first match, the scoring came from Anatoly Soshnikov, Filipp Potapov, Vyacheslav Shevtsov, Artyom Popov, and Gleb Tsyplakov. In the second game, goals were recorded by Artyom Popov and Timofey Malykhin. Ahead of the matchup with the Astana side, Mamonty Yugry sit in 4th place in the Gold Division standings with 18 points after 13 games.
Snezhnye Barsy finished their home stretch with two games against Tyumensky Legion, splitting the series. In the first game, Anton Vasin’s team claimed a 4:1 victory — Aituar Nurzhanov opened the scoring, Roman Dvurechensky recorded a brace, and Tamerlan Tleubayev netted his first MHL goal. In the rematch, the Astana team was unable to repeat their success, falling 4:3 as Legion earned their first win of the season. For Barsy, goals were scored by Alikhan Bakyt, Alexander Perkin, and Ruslan Tusupbekov.
As of now, Snezhnye Barsy occupy 9th place in the Silver Division standings with 6 points in 16 games.
