CSKA will be the second opponent for Barys during their road trip. The teams met just last weekend in Astana.

After 48 games, CSKA have collected 54 points. Their leading scorer remains Prokhor Poltapov (15+15). Defenseman Vladislav Provolnev and forwards Dmitry Buchelnikov and Danila Moiseev are currently sidelined with injuries.
On Tuesday, Barys were unable to score despite firing 26 shots on goal in a 0–2 loss to Lada. Adam Scheel recorded 26 saves. Head coach Mikhail Kravets voiced his concerns about the forwards, who have been held scoreless more than once recently. The Kazakhstani club remains on 39 points after 49 games.
The CSKA – Barys game will begin at 21:30 Astana time.
