Nomad will play its final games of the Kazakhstan Championship at the southern capital’s arena.
Almaty recently faced Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk and suffered two losses. In the first match, Andrey Korobeinikov's team secured a convincing 6:1 victory, with Nikita Zhuldikov scoring the only goal for Almaty. The second game saw Alexander Nesterov’s squad fall 0:4. Before facing Nomad, Almaty holds 5th place in the standings with 46 points in 36 games.
Meanwhile, Nomad played two away games against the Tashkent club. In the first match, Dmitry Kataev’s team claimed a 6:1 win, with Kirill Nikitin scoring Nomad’s only goal. The second match was a closer battle, ending 3:1 in favor of Tashkent, where Ali Kasenov found the net for Nomad. Heading into the game against Almaty, Nomad sits in 8th place in the standings with 35 points in 38 games.
