Snezhnye Barsy – AKM Novomoskovsk 1:8

Today, Snezhnye Barsy played their first game of the MHL regular season against AKM Novomoskovsk, representing the Mikhailov Academy. The visitors took control right from the start, opening the scoring in the 7th minute with a precise shot from Danila Krasin. Soon after, Yaroslav Domrachev doubled their lead.

In the second period, AKM’s offense became even more dangerous. Early in the frame, Bohdan Oniskiv and Ivan Kazharin found the net, with Kazharin adding his second goal midway through the period. The hosts answered only late in the frame when Matvey Terentyev scored shorthanded.

In the third period, the visitors kept pressing. Kirill Chebotaev and Saveliy Sementsov made the score a rout. Only near the end of the game did Snezhnye Barsy give their fans something to cheer about with their first goal of the season — scored by Alihan Bakhyt, making his MHL debut.

Final score: 1–8 in favor of AKM Novomoskovsk. The two teams will meet again tomorrow at Barys Arena, with puck drop scheduled for 4:30 PM Astana time.
