5 days before the start of CPRK-2024. Introducing Lada

We continue to introduce fans to the rivals of Barys in the upcoming XIII "Cup of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in hockey.

Lada was a member of the KHL from 2008 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2018. Last season, Tolyatti returned to the League after a five-year break and immediately made it to the first round of the Gagarin Cup playoffs, but lost 1-4 in the series to Avangard.

The head coach of the team is Russian specialist Oleg Bratash. It is worth noting that his staff includes ex-player and coach of Barys and the National team of Kazakhstan Maxim Semenov.

Kazakhstani fans can find defenders Vladislav Semin and Maxim Mineev in Lada, who previously tried their hand at Barys.

Last season, Lada's top scorer was striker Ostap Safin, who spent his debut season in the KHL.

In the summer, Tolyatti strengthened the goalkeeper line with Maxim Tretyak. Strikers Arkhip Nekolenko and Anthony Greco also became the team's newcomers.
