Andrey Shutov leaved Barys

Andrey Shutov has spent three years in the «Barys» system. Last season, the goalkeeper of the Kazakhstan national team played over 2000 minutes in the regular KHL season, allowing an average of 2.74 goals per game with a 91.5% save percentage. At the World Championship in the Czech Republic, Shutov was among the top three players of the national team.

Oleg Bolyakin, general manager of «Barys»

- We made Shutov a qualifying offer with a salary increase, but he decided to try his hand in another league. The rights to the player in the KHL remain with «Barys». We thank Andrey for his time with «Barys» and wish him success in his new club.
