Arseniy Kuchkovskiy named Jastar Ligasy Goaltender of the Month for September

The Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation has announced the top performers of the first month in the national junior championship.

Best Goaltender – Arseniy Kuchkovskiy (Barys)
Barys are one of only two teams to remain perfect at the start of the regular season, and much of that success comes thanks to Arseniy Kuchkovskiy. The young netminder currently leads the league in several key categories. In September, he played five games, won them all, and posted two shutouts. On average, he allowed just 0.6 goals per game with an outstanding 96.88% save percentage.
