- We knew that Barys had changed the playing style, so we prepared the guys for this game. We knew that the opponent would go into active pressure. Great two periods of handling it. There were some good moments. But it was a nervy ending. Lack of concentration somewhere, maybe. Missed two unnecessary pucks. And so, the team performed the set up for the game. It's great to come away with a win, a hard-working team victory.

- How did you feel when Oberg didn't hit the empty net at the end?

- Of course, it was unpleasant. But the first goal we missed wasn't logical either. Probably scored the same though. Two of the goals were throws onto the goal crease, and the puck went in. Two periods we had control throughout the game. We possessed the puck and didn't let the opponent have any chances at their net. Maybe one moment in the whole game. Great defensive play, I believe.

- Your opinion about the latest place of Barys?

- Good team. The last few games I've been watching, more active. Three tactics in a season changed in the team. There were three head trainers. Right now, the team is moving pretty good, not bad movement, not bad pressing.

- Asked the guys in the third period not to take penalties. But our Achilles' heel for the second game is the third period. With CSKA we broke the game discipline. Today we started to break the game discipline. With these skillful teams, it usually results in them scoring and we start to catch up. It's hard to catch up, although the guys tried hard, played in three squads. As you know, we have a lot of injured people. The bench is short, and the players who have come in are not yet in the right condition and do not yet fulfill the requirements we set. We could have pulled the game out at the end if Oberg...with his throwing should convert. But unfortunately, we lost.

- How do you like Nikita Boyarkin today?

- It's okay, played well enough. The first goal is a ricochet. Valk got through it, there's a defenceman making a mistake in the position play. But I say when you play three squads, the workload increases. It still affects, there's layering, oxidation and dry mouth, and then players make mistakes like that. There are no claims to Boyarkin, and in general there are no claims to the guys. There are certain types who make mistakes. We speak to them, but our words don't always get through. We'll draw conclusions.

- How would you assess the goal-area line without Pasquale?

- These are our guys, they are getting the practice they need, which should be good for them at the World Cup. We took Pasquale off the injured list today and he is ready to go on the trip with the team, he is raring to go. Hopefully when we get there, Starchenko will be out, LaBate, and Asetov.

- The last time Barys convert the powerplay with Salavat Yulaev. In the last game the team got 16 minutes of power play, in today's game also played on the power play, but could not convert.

- I disagree with you there. We scored two goals against CSKA. 25% of convertion is normal enough. Now we have broken all the link developments that have been giving us results and playing the right way. Starchenko with his level always created. We had LaBate playing at net. Grant, who recovered, played on the blue line. Those players that got injured, they were key players and because of that we have those ligaments broken. So far, we can't find that chemistry, find the interaction to get the players working properly.
