Today, the press center at Barys Arena hosted a ceremonial meeting between representatives of HC Barys and the Scientific and Production Center of Transfusiology of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The agreement was signed by HC Barys General Director Saken Mussaybekov and Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Scientific and Production Center of Transfusiology Saniya Abdrakhmanova.
Under the partnership, the parties agreed to organize joint social and PR initiatives, as well as support projects promoting a healthy lifestyle and voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation.
As part of the initiative, during the Barys vs. Admiral game on January 28, every fan will have the opportunity to determine their blood type free of charge. The Scientific and Production Center of Transfusiology's activity zone will be located on the third-floor concourse near Section A11.
In addition, HC Barys will provide complimentary tickets to every home game for fans who donate blood at the Astana Blood Center.
Earlier, the club's management, staff, players, and coaches took part in Donor Day, a campaign aimed at reminding people across the country that every blood donation has the potential to save a life.
