In the first game of their final road trip of the regular season, Barys faced Admiral.
The opening period belonged to the home team, who earned two consecutive power plays. Both goals scored against Artem Shestakov resulted from special teams plays. Libor Sulak and Jack Rodewald found the back of the net. In the second period, accurate shots from Pavel Shen and Daniil Gutik gave Admiral full control of the game. Between these moments, Alikhan Omirbekov scored for Barys after a net-front battle initiated by Ilya Khokhlov.

However, in the final third, the team from Astana turned the game upside down. First, the young line made an impact again, with Semyon Simonov scoring a goal. Shortly after, Mikhail Rakhmanov knocked in a rebound from the crease. The visitors’ comeback was completed by Adil Beketayev, who netted a power-play goal just 37 seconds before the buzzer. The game proceeded to a shootout, where the experienced Roman Starchenko secured the win for Barys. Artem Shestakov made 44 saves.

On March 15, Galym Mambetaliyev's team will face Amur in Khabarovsk.
