Barys Hockey Club has completed the formation of the first team of the coaching staff. In the KHL season 2020/21 Georgiy Vereshchagin, Alexander Shimin, Andrey Shayanov and Alexander Achziger will help Yuri Michaelis.
Sergey Tambulov also remains a video analyst in the coaching staff.
Georgiy Vereshchagin is a trainee of the Karaganda hockey. Previously, he was an assistant of Yuri Michaelis in Nomad, as well as in the student and youth national teams of Kazakhstan.
Andrey Shayanov is a trainee of Ust-Kamenogorsk hockey. He is a honored coach of the Russian Federation, IIHF specialist in children's and youth hockey, High School Athletic Trainers graduate. Previously, he worked at Barys as a head and senior coach. Last season, he was a member of the coaching staff of Snezhnye Barsy YHL team from Barys system.
We will note that Achziger and Tambulov work in the coaching staff of the first team since the creation of the KHL, Alexander Shimin joined Barys two years ago.
