Barys held a training session with Kazakhstan's Paralympic team

From April 15 to 21 the World Para Ice Hockey Championship in Group B will be held in the Norwegian city of Sheen. The national team of Kazakhstan will participate in this division for the second time in its history and will compete for tournament honors with rivals from Germany, Sweden, Norway, France and Great Britain.

On April 3, Barys players Kirill Savitsky, Daniil Apalkov, Alikhan Omirbekov, Tamirlan Gaitamirov and Dinmuhamed Kayirzhan attended the team's training session. The hockey players performed the exercises planned by the coaching staff and played a two-sided game. The event, which was held with the assistance of the Tourism and Sports Industry Support Fund, concluded with a short photo session and a friendly chat.

- We have a good chance to compete for the exit to Group A and later play in the knockout matches for one of the tickets to the Paralympic Games, which will be held in Italy. We will make every effort to achieve this goal. Today we invited the guys from Barys to share their experience in the international arena. The event turned out to be quite positive. We played, talked, discussed some professional issues. Now we'll get ready for the trip to Norway.

- For me this training session was informative and very interesting. We saw other schemes and moves that the guys use. You can see that the guys love this game, they are burning with all their heart. We want to wish them a successful performance at the World Cup on behalf of the club, fans and all of Kazakhstan! Their opponents there will be serious, but we believe that they will be able to achieve the desired result. The most important thing is to avoid injury and have fun.
