In the final game of the homestand series, Barys confidently outplayed Severstal.

The first game in Astana's jersey was played by Daniil Apalkov, who returned to the KHL after two years of absence. Also the training staff put Alikhan Omirbekov and Ruslan Ospanov in the application.

Starting period was on the counter-course, but closer to the middle of the opening period Barys gained the lead and made a couple of dangerous attacks. The puck somehow miraculously stayed out of the net after shots by Adil Beketayev and Riley Barber. Nikita Korostelev converted the powerplay it at the end of twenty minutes.

Kazakhstan responded in the second period with two capitalized on man-advantage. Adil Beketayev sent the puck under the crossbar, and two and a half minutes later, Kirill Savitski blocked an excellent pass from Batyrlan Muratov at the far bar. Next, it was the home team's No. 81 that came to the forefront. First Batyrlan hit the near corner of Dmitry Shugayev's goal, and in the middle of the final third the forward gracefully realized a one-on-one with the puckstopper. That goal was the final goal of the game.

Barys interrupted its losing streak and now preparing for an away series. On November 16, Galym Mambetaliyev's wards will play in Chelyabinsk against Tractor.
