The Barys junior team kicked off its final road trip of the regular season in Pavlodar. In the opening game, our team dominated Munaychy, netting 11 goals against the hosts. Impressively, four of those goals came while Barys was shorthanded. Tair Bigarinov and Zhakanger Tleukhan both recorded three points (2+1 each), while Sonmin Choi contributed with a double.

In the second game, the teams needed extra time to determine the winner. In overtime, the capital's team came out on top, with Arystan Amyrkanov scoring the decisive goal. Tair Bigarinov contributed to all of Barys’ goals (2+1).

After 46 regular-season games, Vladimir Zavyalov’s squad has accumulated 70 points. At the time of publication, Barys led the standings over Zhas Batyr based on tiebreakers. The team will conclude the first stage of the season in Petropavl, facing Kulager on February 26 and 27.
