Barys took the lead in the finals series against Karmet.

Game 3 of the Kazakhstan Junior Championship Finals went Barys’ way, putting the Astana side ahead in the series for the first time. Rakhimbek Meyirman and Egor Kravchenko each scored twice, while Temirlan Aiboluly and Nurali Aitmagambetov also found the back of the net. Goalie Arseniy Kuchkovskiy made 29 saves.

Game 4 between the teams will take place tomorrow, March 23, at Barys Arena (Block B), with puck drop set for 2:00 PM.
