KHL. Barys - Ak Bars 2:4

In the first match of the home series, Barys lost to Ak Bars.
The coaching staff of Barys made only one change compared to the last match. In
the center of the third link Arkady Shestakov played instead of Dmitry Gurkov.
The opponents exchanged goals in the first period. Kirill Petrov scored in the
majority. Two minutes later, Matthew Frettin and Kirill Panyukov broke away, and
the latter hit the goal with a touchdown shot. At the start of the second period,
Panyukov made a double when implementing an extra one. But pretty quickly,
Dawes re-established equality on the scoreboard. Once again, Kazan team scored
in the majority. After another 68 seconds, Stanislav Galiyev upset Barys for the
third time.
Patrice Cormier strengthened the advantage of Ak Bars in the opening of the third
period. As a result, this puck became the final one in the match.
On January 14 the team of Yuri Mikhailis will host Salavat Yulaev on home ice.
