KHL. Barys - Avangard. Trainer comments (video)

After the match "Barys" - "Avangard" (5:3) a press conference was held with the head trainers of the teams.

Dmitry Ryabykin the head trainer of Avangard

- We started well, then missed some optional goals. But what I like that guys didn't lose their courage. We could have equalized the points, but we missed an empty goal

- Which one of the Barys players impressed you today?

-  I really liked the first three, where Wei, Michaelis play. Also, I liked Graham, he's good with the puck. A good enough team.

Andrey Skabelka, head trainer of Barys

 - It was a very good match; I think the spectators enjoyed it. Thanks for their support. The team played quite interesting offensively. They created a lot of chances, but the defense needs to be improved, we will. We are getting ready for the next game.

- We didn't see Savitsky on the ice, had to change lines, did it affect the game?

- Of course it did. He is the leading player; he was out for medical reasons. We had to reconsider our plans.

- When will we see rookies Nogier and Gudacek in action??

- The rearguad arrived today, we haven't seen him on the ice yet. He had a medical examination. Tomorrow morning he will go out to practice, so tomorrow we will decide now ready he is.. And the goalkeeper is coming only tomorrow.

- Ansar is in a triple of foreigners now, and he immediately scored his first goal in the KHL. Was it the trainer intuition?

- We are looking for a partner for Luis and Bracco as you can see. I decided to give Ansar a try. He took a chance. I think he'll start with these guys in tomorrow's game.
