KHL. Barys – Spartak. Press conference

A press conference with participation of head coaches was held after the match Barys - Spartak (1:4).

- It was a good game for all 60 minutes. I would like to congratulate the guys, Spartak fans with this victory. Regarding the match, I could say that we started well and played according to the game plan. In the second period, the opponent tried to seize the initiative. They even succeeded somehow, there were several suspenseful changes. But then the guys pulled themselves together and brought a victory to their team.

- A lot of things didn't work out for us today. First of all, this is the starting period. There were a lot of losses in center ice, the opponent did not allow us to take a scoring chance. The second period: two counterattacks that we missed and a loss of concentration. We could not find the key to opponent's defense, although there were some preconditions. We created scoring chances, but the opponent's defense and goalkeeper played great.

- What do you think about the Jacob Berglund game?

- Perhaps, there is some kind of adaptation. He has arrived recently and had to play the next day. He has great skills, as I have already said, and that will help our team in the future.

- Do you agree that Erik Martinsson is out of the game?

- I do not agree with this opinion. He has a quite big load in the game. He knows how to score shorthanded and on the power play. There is some kind of adaption to partners and the league as well as to other types of speed. He is a skilled and experienced player. I believe he will get used to everything over time.
