The Kontinental Hockey League has completed work on compiling a schedule of matches for the next championship. Schedule of the 2021/2022 season matches will be published on Friday, July 9.
In the meantime, dates of the first home meetings have become known. Barys will play its first match at home with Salavat Yulaev of Ufa on September 3.
In the regular season, these teams will play 56 matches - one game at home and away with each team (46 games), and another match at home and away with five teams of their conference (10 games).
The regular season will begin on September 1, 2021 with the Opening Cup match between Avangard and CSKA and will end on March 1, 2022. Start of the playoffs is scheduled for March 4, 2022, and if necessary, the seventh game of final series will be held on April 30, 2022.
