KHL. Barys - Tractor. Trainer's comments (video)

After the match Barys - Tractor (4:3) a press conference was held with the head trainers of both teams.

- In the first period, the opponents were quicker, sometimes they slightly press. Committed faults in the center ice, in the offensive zone. Our backcheck was wrong and we were punished for it, but guys didn't give up, they understood and concentrated. Second period well played and third as well. Unfortunately, game discipline failed and unwanted penalties caught up. The opponent converted it. Fought until the end. Tried to break it, but fell short somewhere.

Andrei Skabelka, Barys Head Trainer

- Tough match. First of all, I want to thank the team. It's not an easy schedule. We want to play more offense and control the puck, but we have a fairly young team, and we do not fully understand these moments. Today there was dedication, temper. - Well done, guys. Of course, the fans today were great support. Thanks a lot! Getting ready for Dynamo.

- Savitski and Vey have started to prepare, when will we be able to see them?

- Vey comes out, but it takes more time. Savitski, most likely, will try to come back in a match with Dynamo.

- How lacking are they in the team right now?

- Of course, these are skilled players, especially Linden. He knows how to win a trophy. That's the kind of player we lack. I always say, it's a chance for those who don't play much, or those who think they don't play much. - Well done, guys. They prove, they try.

- Not so long ago there was a powerplay brigade Louis - Bracco - Shestakov - Borisevich - Grant. How do you evaluate the game in uneven lineups now?

- After today's game, there's probably no point in evaluating the power play - two of the two scored. We made such a brigade before the last game. Unfortunately, we didn't get a single powerplay. We wanted to play in threes and add one forward each. The combination of Sagadeyev and Borisevich turned out pretty good, so we decided to join them with one forward each.
