KHL. Barys - Traktor 2:3

In the first match of the home series, Barys lost to Traktor, and snapped its winning streak in four meetings. 
The coaching staff of the hosts made several changes to the team list. Place in the goal was taken by Yoni Ortio from the first minutes. Yegor Petukhov, Dmitry Gurkov and Samat Daniyar were suited up instead of Matt Frattin, Arkady Shestakov and Alex Lintuniemi. 
The first period was still with the guests, who opened the scoring with a precise throw under the crossbar by Alexey Byvaltsev in the middle of the period. At half-time, Henrik Karlsson replaced Ortio in the Barys goal.
Yegor Petukhov was the first in the putback in the second period, and scored a Fedotov goal. However, quite quickly, the guests made two more effective attacks - Sergey Kalinin and Vitaly Kravtsov scored. 
Valery Orekhov returned the team from Nur-Sultan to the game in the middle of the third period. But the hosts could do nothing more.
On January 28, Barys will play with Neftekhimik on home ice.
