KHL. CSKA - Barys- 2:3

In Thursday, Barys extended the winning streak in the regular season of KHL to five matches. In Moscow, our team beat the current winner of the Gagarin Cup CSKA - 2:1.
The team had a number of changes compared to the match in Yekaterinburg –Batyrlan Muratov and Yegor Shalapov got a rest, Valeriy Orekhov and Dmitriy Gurkov were included in the application. Eddie Pasquale took the net place.
CSKA opened the scoring in the middle of the first period thanks to a quick attack, which was completed by Sergey Tolchinsky with a throw from close range. Barys responded before the break with a goal scored by Corban Knight. At the end of the second leg, Barys realized the first majority in the match – Linus Videll scored an accurate shot into the far corner. The hosts managed to win back in the final twenty minutes – a powerful click under the crossbar marked Klas Dalbek. However, Barys did not intend to transfer the meeting to overtime, scoring the winning goal through the efforts of Darren Dietz.
Barys returns home, on Saturday we take on the home arena of Sochi HC. The game starts at 17:00.
