KHL. CSKA - Barys. Before the match

Barys will play the final match of the first road stand of the season in Moscow. On Monday, our team will play with CSKA on CSKA Arena. Barys arrived in the Russian capital from Belarus. On Saturday in Minsk, the Kazakhstan team played 1-4, but lost to the home team in overtime – 4:5. Darren Dietz, Roman Starchenko, Anton Sagadeyev and Nikita Mikhailis scored for the guests. The latter has one point left to reach the 100-point anniversary mark in KHL. In 2019/2020 championship, CSKA and Barys beat each other once away – 3:0, 2:3. Barys won over CSKA the last two games in Moscow. 
 
CSKA started the season poorly, losing in the Opening Cup to AK Bars. However, in the second game, Igor Nikitin's team returned to the winning path, beating Sochi - 3:1. The goal was scored by Konstantin Okulov, Matt Robinson and Pavel Karnaukhov. The defense of CSKA team allowed the visitors to make only 14 shots at the goal of Alexander Sharychenkov, the goalkeeper. Maxim Shalunov, the forwarder, is in one accurate throw away from the bar of 100 goals in KHL. Brendan Leipsic, the forwarder and CSKA new entry is preparing for his debute. Ivan Telegin, the forwarder, is on the injured reserve and will not play against Barys.  
 
The match starts in Minsk at 10:30 pm capital time.
