Two changes were made by the coaching staff in the lineup compared to the match in Minsk.
Dmitry Shevchenko and Maxim Semenov were replaced by Yaroslav Evdokimov and Leonid
Metalnikov. Eddie Pasquale took the net place.
After the goalless first period, the teams staged a real shootout in the second segment. Alikhan
Asetov and Roman Starchenko helped Barys gain a comfortable lead by the 4th minute. But in
the second half of the period, Arthur Kayumov and Stepan Sannikov scored a goal, leveling the
score.
The third period passed without goals, and Barys in the fifth match in a row went beyond the
regular time.
In overtime Rushan Rafikov brought Locomotive victory – 3:2. Barys goes to Kazan, where on
Saturday will play with Ak Bars.
