In the second match of the new season, Barys will host Metallurg from Magnitogorsk on home ice.

Coach of Magnitogorsk players Ilya Vorobyov was satisfied with the play of his trainees, but only for 50 minutes out of 60. He also refused to give the team grades for preparatory season.
