KHL. Severstal - Barys 3:4 OT

Barys outplayed Severstal in overtime in the final match of the away series and interrupted the series of it defeats.

The guests again started the match decently, and Kirill Savitsky opened the scoring already in the third minute. The striker neatly put his stick under the throw from the blue line and disoriented the goalkeeper. However, Severstal left for a break in the rank of leader. Ilya Khokhlov supported the attack in time, and Adam Lishka successfully played in front of the goal. And nine seconds before the siren, Ivan Yemets pushed the puck into the net.

At the beginning of the second period, Roman Starchenko evened the score with a wrist shot from the center of the zone. But the joy of the guests was short-lived. Maxim Kolmykov brought the Cherepovets forward again.

Olle Alsing returned Barys to the game with a throw from the blue line. As a result, the opponents were unable to identify the winner in regular time. In the extra five minutes, the guests first withstood in the least, and then realized their power play chance. The author of the winning goal was Curtis Valk.

On November 23, Barys will host Minsk Dynamo on home ice.
