In the third match of the away games, Barys lost to Vityaz - 0:5.
There were three changes in guests' lineup for the match, two of them concerned the defense line. Yuri Sergiyenko and Vladislav Syomin were replaced by Yegor Shalapov and Maxim Mineyev, who made his debut for Barys in official meetings. Nikita Boyarkin played in the goal from the first minutes.
The starting segment was held with an advantage of Kazakhstan players, who earned eight minutes of power play. However, none of the opponent's penalties were implemented. 23 seconds before the break, Scott Wilson brought Vityaz forward with a throw from a rather sharp angle.
In the final third, Stepan Starkov, Vladislav Kara and Jeremy Roy capitalized on man-advantage. Another goal was made by Kirill Rasskazov as well. However, Andrey Skabelka's team could not score a goal.
