The G-Energy preseason tournament got underway today in Omsk. Ilgiz Ravilievich’s team played their opening game against Kuznetskie Medvedi. Snezhnye Barsy, who were the nominal home side, fell to their opponents 2–4.

Aituar Nurzhanov and Ilya Gromov scored for Snezhnye Barsy in regulation time. As part of the preseason game, the teams also took part in a post-game shootout. Zhakhangir Tileukhan and Aristarkh Kireev successfully converted their attempts for Snezhnye Barsy.

Snezhnye Barsy will face Belye Medvedi from Chelyabinsk in their next game.
