Hockey club Barys officially announces the conclusion of a contract with Michael Chaput. The contract with the Canadian forward is for one season (until April 30, 2023).
The center forward spent his entire career in North America. Michael was drafted by Philadelphia in 2010 and has since played 182 games in the NHL. In 2016, the athlete won the Calder Cup.
Last season, Chaput played in Pittsburgh's farm team, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The player scored 33 (12+21) points in 57 meetings. Overall, the forward played 445 games in the AHL and scored 292 (121+171) points.
