During the third match at World Junior Championship in Norway (IA), Kazakhstan's national team defeated their opponents from Denmark without a scratch. The main hero of the game became puckstopper Roman Shefer, with 32 shots on goal and keeping his possessions intact. Forward Vsevolod Logvin scored a double, Dinmukhamed Kaiyrzhan scored the second goal of the tournament, and Roman Ermak was the author of the winning shot.
