Nomad Earn Tenth Consecutive Win

Nomad opened their second month of action with a home game against Petropavlovsk's Kulager. The Astana side defeated their opponents 4:1 to claim another convincing victory.

Nomad came out strong from the opening minutes. Two of their 10 shots on goal found the back of the net. Khaknazar Kenesbay opened the scoring. Making his first appearance of the season after a lengthy injury layoff, he fired Daniyal Tsybin's pass from the blue line into the top corner of Andrei Yankov's net.

Shortly after, Asanali Sarkenov, who is making his debut in the Kazakhstan Championship, scored his first goal at the senior level. Daniyal Tsybin also picked up an assist on the play. Sarkenov sent the puck into the Petropavlovsk team's net to make it 2:0.

With 10 minutes remaining in the second period, Kulager found the target behind Artyom Shestakov to cut the deficit.

In the third period, Asanali Sarkenov took advantage of a scramble in front of Yankov's net and scored his second power-play goal of the game. The young forward completed his brace.

Adil Beisembayev put the finishing touch on the game, also scoring on the power play to seal Nomad's 4:1 victory.
