Nomad Proved Stronger Than Torpedo

Today, Nomad played its first game of the November road trip, facing Torpedo in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The Astana side came out on top with a 4–2 victory. In the opening period, Sayan Daniyar opened the scoring in the fourth minute off assists from Rasul Tursynov and Dias Guseynov. Shortly after, Dias Guseynov capitalized on a mistake by the hosts to make it 2–0. Andrey Runov responded just 14 seconds later, cutting the deficit for Torpedo.

Midway through the second period, Oleg Boyko, with help from Roman Starchenko, extended Nomad’s lead. Erik Aldabergenov tried to bring the hosts back into the game, but Ruslan Ospanov sealed the final score.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 18:30.
