Before the matches Admiral - Barys

Barys opens the final road series of the season with two meetings in Vladivostok.

Admiral in the last round in Yaroslavl outplayed Lokomotiv (2:1). The victory for Leonid Tambijevs's team was brought by accurate shots from Dmitry Zavgorodniy and Giovanni Fiore, and excellent play of puckstopper Vasily Demchenko, who deflected 41 shots.

With 49 points after 61 games, the Vladivostok team sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. The top scorer for the Admirals is Daniil Gutik, with 12 goals and 20 assists. Sergei Ivanov is among the top five goalies in terms of percentage of deflected shots (93.1%). Defenseman Yevgeni Lisovets and forward Pavel Shen are on the injured list.

Barys on Saturday lost on home ice to Spartak (1:4) and suffered its tenth consecutive defeat. Kirill Savitski scored the only goal for the Moscow team. In this game, the Astana coaching staff used both goalies - Edward Pasquale and Andrei Shutov deflected 27 shots.

Kazakhstan team is still at the bottom of the standings in the East. Oleg Bolyakin's wards have 46 points after 61 matches. The team's top scorer, Pontus Oberg (16+18), has earned just one point in the last eight meetings. Defenseman Alex Grant and forward Batyrlan Muratov are still in the injured list.

In September, Barys and Admiral exchanged victories in Astana (4:3 in favor of the hosts and 3:2 on a shootout in favor of the guests).
