Barys kicks off its final road trip of the regular season in Vladivostok.
On Tuesday, Admiral secured its sixth win of the season over its Far Eastern rivals Amur with a 5-2 victory. Nikita Soshnikov netted a brace, while Dmitry Zavgorodniy, Yegor Petukhov, and the team's top scorer Daniil Gutik (22+25) each added a goal. Andrey Mishurov made 29 saves. Head coach Leonid Tambiev highlighted his team’s strong first period, which set the tone for the rest of the game. After 63 matches, the Sailors have earned 67 points. Forward Artyom Nikolaev remains on the injured list.
Barys, in its last home game, failed to break through CSKA’s defense (0-3). Artyom Shestakov made 26 saves, keeping Astana in the game. Head coach Galym Mambetaliev noted that his team had at least created chances for one goal. The Kazakh club remains at 33 points after 63 games. Kirill Savitsky has been removed from the injury list. However, the team will have to do without its leading scorer, Anton Burdasov (12+5), who is missing the trip due to medical reasons.
