Barys continues its final road trip of the regular season in Khabarovsk.

Amur recently suffered a road loss to Sibir, marking their fourth consecutive defeat. Vyacheslav Gretsky and Oleg Li scored for the Tigers, while Viktor Kobozev and Matt Jurusik combined for 30 saves. Head coach Viktor Kostyuchenok noted that his team was let down by an unnecessary penalty taken by a young player.

After 64 games, Amur has earned 38 points. The team's top scorer, Alexander Galchenyuk, has recorded 37 points (20+17). Forward Devin Brosseau remains on the injured list.

On Thursday, Barys showed incredible character in Vladivostok. Trailing 0-3 and 1-4 against Admiral, Galym Mambetaliyev’s team managed to complete a comeback and win in a shootout (5-4). Alikhan Omirbekov, Semyon Simonov, Mikhail Rakhmanov, and Adil Beketayev (5+12) all added to their scoring tallies. Beketayev has now matched Anton Burdasov (12+5) and Nikita Setdikov (9+8) as the team's top point producers. Goaltender Artem Shestakov made 43 saves, including 10 in overtime. The Astana coach mentioned that his players needed a wake-up call after the second period and once again highlighted the role of the younger players in leading the team.

Barys now has 35 points after 64 games. In the upcoming match against Amur, forward Kirill Savitsky is likely to return to the lineup after missing three weeks due to injury.

The game between Amur and Barys is scheduled to start at 12:30 Astana time.
A live broadcast will be available on KHL TV.
