Barys continues the final home series on November with a meeting with Vityaz.

Moscow region team lost at home to Ak Bars last round - 2:3. Scott Wilson, who scored his tenth goal of the season, and Alexander Yaremchuk added to the scoring tally. Dmitry Shikin reflected 16 shots on goal.

In 35 games Vityaz earned 28 points, to date the team is at the bottom of the standings of the Western Conference. The top sharpshooter is forward Derek Barach (6+14).

Barys last round broke its losing streak by beating Neftekhimik (4:3) in overtime. 19-year-old forward Ruslan Ospanov scored his first KHL goal, while Nelson Nogier, Kirill Savitski  and Pontus Åberg scored once each. Arkadiy Shestakov (4+6) reached the ten-point mark in the current championship. Anthony Camara was the first to score in a Barys jersey, and he also has ten (3+7) points on the season. Andrei Shutov saved 22 shots on net.

Kazakhstan team has 27 points after 35 matches. Late last week, Barys traded Riley Barber for Kristian Khenkel. Defenceman arrived in Astana early in the morning and with a high probability will not play today. Rudolf Červený, who missed the meeting with Neftekhimik due to illness, are going to return to the squad.


The match at Barys Arena will begin at 19:30 Astana time.
