Roman Starchenko to Continue His Playing Career with Barys

Barys has signed a one-year, one-way contract with Roman Starchenko, valid until May 31, 2026.

The veteran Kazakh forward will be playing his 17th season with our club. Starchenko holds the KHL record for most games played with a single team (810) and is the 10th player in league history to surpass the 800-game mark. In the past regular season, the captain recorded 12 (4+8) points in 27 games. At present, Roman ranks second in the club’s all-time goal-scoring list with 211 goals.
