Starchenko’s goal helps Kazakhstan defeat South Korea

In their opening game of the Asian Championship, Kazakhstan — led by Talgat Zhaylauov — broke through South Korea’s resistance. The standout performer of the match was defenseman Ivan Stepanenko, who delivered a hat trick. Team captain Roman Starchenko also added a goal, while Kirill Lyapunov recorded an assist. Roman Kalmykov stopped 25 shots.

On November 22, Kazakhstan will face China, with the game set to begin at 16:30.
