In the final game of the road stand series, Barys lost to Sibir.

Defenceman Samat Daniyar returned to the lineup after injury. Roman Starchenko and Alikhan Asetov, who missed the match with Avangard, were also in the lineup. Kirill Savitski, Joseph LaBate and Kirill Nikitin remained out of the application.

The home team capitalised on their first power play of the game, with Taylor Beck scoring on an accurate shot. And that quick score set the tone for the rest of the game. Before the break, Andrei Shutov's goal got three more goals - Vladimir Butuzov, Nikolai Prokhorkin and Artyom Mikheev added to their sniper accounts.

Eddie Pasquale appeared in the Barys goal at halftime, but he failed to keep his possession intact as Andy Andreoff capitalized on man-advantage. Anthony Camara's puck midway through the second twenty minutes allowed Astana to escape a dry defeat. Galym Mambetaliyev's wards will play the next match on 19 December. Barys will play against Salavat Yulaev in Ufa.
