Starchenko returned to Barys

Barys hockey club officially announces conclusion of a contract with Roman Starchenko. One-way contract is for one season until April 30, 2024.

The forward has played for Barys for 14 seasons since the club joined KHL. Roman is one of the few players in the League who has reached a mark of 200 goals scored while playing as a member of the same team. It is worth noting that Starchenko is the second top-scorer in the history of our club.

Last season, the forward played for Moscow's Spartak, where he had 52 games and earned 15 (7+8) points. In general, in KHL, the legend of Kazakhstan hockey played 792 matches, recording 392 (207+185) points overall.

Belan Vyacheslav, Barys General Manager:

- Starchenko does not need a special introduction. Experience and skills allow him to be a leader both on and off the ice rink. We are glad that Roman has returned to our club, he will become a real mentor for the younger generation.
