Tomiris Secures Silver in Qyzdar Ligasy

The fourth and final tour of the Kazakhstani Women’s Hockey Championship (Group A) wrapped up in Almaty, with "Tomiris" claiming the silver medal for the 2024–2025 season.

During this stretch, Tomiris dropped two close games to eventual champions "Aisulu" (1:2 and 2:3 in a shootout), but dominated "Torpedo" in three matchups, including one carried over from the third tour (5:1, 9:0, 4:2).

With 23 points in total, Alexander Tebenkov’s squad once again finished as the league's runners-up. "Aisulu" claimed the top spot, while "Torpedo" rounded out the podium in third.

Tomiris’ top scorer was Darya Kozhina with 8 goals and 7 assists. Among defenders, Yuliya Butorina led the way with 9 points (1 goal, 8 assists). Goaltender Arina Shchekolova ended the season with a 91.2% save percentage and a goals-against average of 3.00.
