In the first test match, Barys confidently outplayed Spartak (7:2).

Success of Yuri Mikhailis' team was brought by a shock first leg, during which the guests made four scoring attacks. Yegor Petukhov and Curtis Valk scored doubles, and Jacob Berglund, Kirill Savitsky and Alikhan Asetov each scored a goal. Joni Ortio played in the goal. Defender Adil Beketayev played the first match in Barys.
